From The Get-Go

My entire life I always dreamed of having a clothing brand. When I was just able to draw stuff on paper, I was drawing my future logo designs never thinking that I would do it one day, When I was about 11 years old that is when I really started to get into clothing and fashion, I began looking up to clothing designers like Virgil Abloh, Shoes were my parents biggest fear for me because they saw how much I began to admire them and the price tags it came with, about a year later I was finally able to buy my first hype shoe from birthday money which was the Adidas Nmd, I felt so proud of my purchase and always hoped that I could be the same for people where people want to buy my clothing as something they saved up for to buy, I knew that this was never going to be an easy task but it’s a risk I was willing to take to make my younger self and my older self-happy, even if it never worked out I would still be mad I never tried so in early 2021 I started working on my clothing brand that is now known as Latty.

Play The Game

All families have sayings that they use or tell their kids to grow up hoping that it would stick with them, and my dad would always tell me on the way to hockey games that I am the root of the team so I always must be in the right mindset, or the team is going to lose which was always something I hated to hear because that put even more pressure on me but when the last game I ever played right before covid we were driving to an away game being down 1-0 in the series and it was best out of 3, and I remember we got about 20 minutes into the drive and he tells me, you’re the root of this team weather we win or lose the team would never of got as far as they did if it wasn’t for you, so when we got on the ice I was nervous the season was on the line and it was determined by me. We ended up winning 9-0 that game and I got a shut out with 42 saves because I was not ready to end the season and I used that to drive in the game.

I use that quote in my everyday life and in my clothing brand that I am the root of and if I am never in the right mindset the brand will never go anywhere.

Stay tuned! There's more to come...
