Hey!

My name is Shea Miller, a Grade 11 student in MBCI’s Studio program, and I have always been completely fascinated by the art of storytelling.

Ever since I was small, I was surrounded in my own world that consisted of books, my vibrant imagination, and movies. I thought acting could be my outlet for this mysterious passion. I joined acting classes, plays, and musicals, and although I enjoyed it, I never felt like my passion was quite satisfied. When Covid hit, my grade was challenged by turning our school musical into a film. Although I was in front of the camera, something in my mind just clicked.

My passion evolved from acting to filmmaking, which is a beautiful mix of my passions for cinematography, cameras, design, and storytelling. My brain constantly flips through potential characters, settings, plot-lines, and shots. I long to get these ideas and stories down onto paper, and then into the world of film.

My goal in MBCI’s Studio program is to create quality film work that brings the stories of my imagination to life, and to your eyes.
